This web site is basically a bulletin board to let those web enabled democrats in Person County North Carolina learn about events and issues relevant to Democratic politics. We hope to publicize events, meetings and activities that democrats in Person county might consider participating in.

Person County Democrats work to promote the goals and ideals of the Democratic Party and to oppose the regressive policies of the current administration.

Organization News

The Obama/Democratic campaign headquarters is open for business. Come by the Depot St. (near Senior Center) office for volunteering opportunities and/or voting information.

Call 336 504 5942 to help Obama/Biden or democrats in general. Call to help with yard signs or to help on election day as well.

Upcoming Democratic events:

Every Saturday, Teen Democrats will be canvassing as well. Teens are leaving literature and voting guides on the doorknobs of Roxboro Democrats. We meet at the Carver Dr. end of the high school at 10:15.

Bev Perdue Campaign event - Oct. 25 at 12:30 at the Person Co. Office Building. The event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP as soon as possible to 504 5942 if you plan to attend.

Becoming a Member

All democrats in Person County N.C. are invited to attend their respective precinct meetings. If your precinct is not organized, then send an email to the address below or contact a member of the executive committee for details as to how your precinct may be organized.
